It has a beginning, middle, and end. However, the difference with this story is that it may or may not have a different ending every time you read it. Action Research, may or may not give you the same results every time you go through the cycles of improving a particular problem. Currently i am at the stage where i am looking at it as a story. How would you explain AR in its most simple ways?","replyPages":[{"page":0,"digests":[{"id":"26046621","body":"Hi Oscar,

\nA story or narrative is an interesting metaphor as much of life can be captured in sets of narratives. You might want to read Tell me a Story by Roger Schank. He makes a similar argument. That's funny!...What do you mean by that? Is it because it is fun and you have the opportunity to express yourself creatively in your workplace if you desire?..

\nI myself would also describe AR as telling a story. We are the authors writing our own "destiny" for our research questions. And, our outcome is dependent on the trials and tribulations we face throughout our quest for success. Our ending is still in the process of being conceived, and our stories have the chance to be rewritten if we are unsatisfied.","dateCreated":"1285097955","smartDate":"Sep 21, 2010","userCreated":{"username":"ErikaCMaldonado","url":"https:\/\/www.wikispaces.com\/user\/view\/ErikaCMaldonado","imageUrl":"https:\/\/www.wikispaces.com\/user\/pic\/1298521727\/ErikaCMaldonado-lg.jpg"}},{"id":"28271349","body":"Actually I wouldn\u00b4t describe AR as telling a story but as writing a story, because we have an active role in the process.","dateCreated":"1286809182","smartDate":"Oct 11, 2010","userCreated":{"username":"jmncastro","url":"https:\/\/www.wikispaces.com\/user\/view\/jmncastro","imageUrl":"https:\/\/ssl.wikicdn.com\/i\/user_none_lg.jpg"}},{"id":"74144026","body":"I love a action research like to tell a story.
